Howards Professional Driving School was established in 1972. In 2014, the current owners, Paul and Maria James, took over the business. Despite the change of hands, our philosophy has remained the same—safety is an essential part of being a good driver. We don’t just teach you to pass a driving test; we teach you how to minimise risks on and off the road, safely load and tow trailers, plus more. 

Our accredited instructors are trained in-house, so rest assured you’ll receive the best possible education. We’re experienced in teaching drivers of all ages and backgrounds, including those with international licences. If you’re changing from an automatic to a manual, we can also help there.
